Bills are not included in the weekly rental cost (to be paid separately, split between members of the house), this means that you pay for what you use but you will need to arrange your own meter readings with the energy suppliers you choose.
We cover the building insurance costs but contents should be insured by the students in the property. Many insurance companies provide this cover but a good place to start to look is Endsleigh who have specific student insurance (click HERE).
The rental period starts 1st July and runs to 30th June the following year. If students rent the same property for consecutive years, they can leave personal belongings in the property for the whole period (saving removal or storage costs).

The rent should be paid quarterly in advance, normally this should be done bank transfer.
The deposit required is £500 per student.
The deposit will be returned in accordance of the deposit protection scheme rules.

Either a parent or guardian can be your guarentor, they will need to provide confirmation of address and 2 forms of photo ID.
The property will be checked on your departure, we expect that the property is left in a clean and tidy condition, in this case there will be no cleaning charge. See tenancy agreement for further details.
If you decide to take the inclusive bills option then this will be taken care of. If you decide to pay bills yourselves then you will need to arrange a TV licence for the period you are in the property.

Yes, you can remain in the property until the end of the agreed lease period (normally 30th June).
No need to move out, it you want to stay, or leave possessions in the property over such periods it’s OK.
